I would think yes, but I do not know for sure. I would test the wires at each end. here is a coulpe for you to test, the four injector wires. test at the injector plug and the correct ecu pin, if the hf/si harness match up then the wires should be good going through the plug. it sounds like you have some wiring troubles. good luck

I cant say for sure, but I cant imagine that the 1.5, and the 1.6 have the same harnesses. I know that while I was looking for an Si underdash harness I got an HF underdash harness by accident and it didnt work.

Go here (Si harness)

http://www.hondaautomotivepart...RNESS

and here (HF harness)

http://www.hondaautomotivepart...RNESS

And you'll notice that only 2 of the 5 harnesses listed in the car are the same part #. They dont have pics though.

Odds are it wont work, unless you make it like an Si engine harness, or use an Si engine harness.

Pull the 2 wire plug on the dizzy. Make sure you have 12V from blk/yel to earth and 12V from blu to earth. Check the coil and igniter.

ya, different part numbers. the engine harness came from an HF.. dropped the engine into an SI.. and left the underdash harnesses. look like im going to have to trade the dashes out too.

Different harnesses, si, dx, hf all different pinouts. Also... fyi years are hardly interchange either(with some exceptions).

ok, so that is definitely a problem? the hf engine harness with the si inside harness? the plugs fit perfectly together.. if i swap out the dash and all that wiring.. everything should be gravy?

anyone else have any suggestions.. an 88 si engine harness in the 90 si.. OR grab the underdash harness from the 90 HF that the engine came out of.. and throw that in the 90 si?

Underdash harnesses are a beyotch. You have to pretty much remove everything down to bare metal to get at it. If you can just swap out an engine harness I'd do that first.
