Default Catback modification

I know that a 94-99 GSR catback is a little short to bolt on to an ITR due to our shorter stock exhaust manifold.

If I take a catback with the 99 GSR length, will it fit our cars simply by getting a custom longer test pipe made to fit between the header and catback?

Actually, a '94-'99 GS-R exhaust would be too long to bolt up to an ITR exhaust manifold & cat. You'd need a shorter cat or test pipe in order to install it.

Oh that's right, I got it mixed up. Thanks for the clarification, just happy to know that it will work.

If you find an LS catback for cheap it'll bolt right up though.

edit: get the 3dr hatchback versions though, IIRC sedan exhausts are longer, not 100% sure though.
