i have some rims for italy and i wanted to mount some 195 on them.. but the only thing is that the rim is 5.5 inches wide.. was wounder if the sidewall of the tire would be stretched out so much that i couldnt do it.. or if it would work fine? thanx

 

It will work okay, it will be bulged a bit... Which tires are you thinking of going with?

In EDM, or at least in Portugal, the Civic VTi 92-95 (EG6) comes with 5.5 rims and 195/55 R15 tires.. So as you see it feets..
But know i'm changing the rims to ROTA 7" or 6.5". I haven't discovered yet witch one will give a better behavior of the car..

 

the falken ziex's that i have are a little under advertised width anyway, so i wouldn't worry about it.

 

195/60-14s were factory issue on 14x5.5s on most of the late 80s-early 90s Integras, Preludes, and Accords. I'd guess that it's ok.
