Tuesday nite I noticed one of my lights was flashing, but very briefly.. Last nite I was able to check my oil and it was hella low but to the best of my knowledge I am not burning or leaking any.. any ideas?

 

could be your oil pressure.. did it flash while you were stopped or turning hard??

 

thats what i think is wrong.. it was barely flickering and almost certainly only while i was turning. it was really frickin low so i dumped some oil in but i want to look at it when it's not raining.

 

yeah, it was probably just really low.. our oem oil pans sometimes cause oil pressure to drop while the car shifts directions.. especially if the oil level is low! i'd change your oil and leaks near the drain bolt/filter/and oil pan..also check for any dents in the oil pan and make sure you get a new drain bolt and washer.

 

if you were low on oil. Yes I could see your oil pressure dropping on what I think was left hand turns? I forget which way really effects it. were you turning left?

 

I'm pretty sure I have a problem.. my car is running a little off, I won't be able to change my oil this weekend if this damn rain continues!
I can't member which way i was turning.. but I believe it was both right and left. My clutch is also sticky, but I don't think that's related. Any more ideas anybody>?

 

It could be oil pressure. Is your car bogging in VTEC? Get an oil pressure test done asap, but first put more oil in!

 

i'm freaked! i'm gonna look at it today on my lunch.. can i get that test done @ like jiffy lube? my shop is HELLA far from work or i'd just run over there.
