pulling out motor, leaving in tranny?

Anyone ever pull out the motor while leaving the tranny(my case auto) in?
I plan on removing the crossmember and dropping the motor.

I do it all the time, it's alot less work. 5-speeds are a different story though.

yup u can, done it all the time..auto and manual

pretty much the same.
