Default pulling out motor, leaving in tranny?

Anyone ever pull out the motor while leaving the tranny(my case auto) in?
I plan on removing the crossmember and dropping the motor.

I do it all the time, it's alot less work. 5-speeds are a different story though.

yup u can, done it all the time..auto and manual pretty much the same.

to me that mees like it would be alot more work...it seems easier to get the tranny on the motor while its out of the car...
