if you have 10,000 dollars turbo, if you have 5,000 supercharge it, sti's and supra turbos are tough modded

you don't want an s2000 turbo.

at your given age, boost a corolla or something

supra is heavy...sti is heavy...

modded supra and sti are fast. their streight line though.

s2000 is light. s2000 is fast, s2000 will out time then on the laps on the track.

supra's and sti's are fast on road courses (aka cornering). i wouldn't consider them just straightline

The fact is that most Supras and STI's are not modded for cornering, besides the rally cars. Do you think a 900 whp Supra can take a turn well?

HP doesnt determine its handling capability. It could have 900 hp with a higly tuned suspension.

Even so, a highly tuned suspension on a Supra still wont help the back end kicking out everytime you gas it around a turn. You would have to take turns in neurtal.

cars can be detuned for diff courses. and more than likely if the owner of a supra is concerned with road courses than straightline... then it won't necessarily have 8billion hp

Your right, but my point is most of them out there are not tuned for road courses. Those guys are all about single turbos upgrades and 1/4 mile times. Same for the STI, how many of those kids buying them are thinking about road racing. NMost of them go to the strip straight from the dealer.

supra's have a good suspension from factory, most people don't use it to its capabilities

yah... well they're taking advantage of the car's capabilities in another way. it's their choice... doesn't mean the car doesn't perform.

Never said the car dosent perform. I said that most of them arent being used that way and you cant have both. High HP and good cornering on them.

true... i still don't think it's a matter of hp. it's the powerband for one when u get that high of an hp with a big turbo car. it makes it more of a task i would say

well jgtc supras don't even have 900rwhp.... isn't the highest class of jgtc is the jgtc500?? .. so that means all the cars are aruond 500ps.... if you have 900rwhp in your supra your main object is the drag strip...

i agree for those excessive hp ones. i have seen plenty of 500-550whp supra's at road courses and running well

I'm sure you could take one out, but... wouldn't you be better off, especially at your age, going after girls? I'd rather take a girl out than a supra, but that's just me.
