Greddy SP2 cat-back exhaust system - 60mm which is 2.36 inch.
4-2-1 DC Sport Header One-Piece


The muffler shop told me to get a 3inch carsound cat. Any suggestion? I dont want to get the wrong one.

 

a 2.25" would work fine. 2.5" could also work, but 3.0" is too big- your exhaust will leak at the 3-bolt flange.

 

2.25 is good now

 

2.25.. don't listen to your shop.

The shop wants $160 with the flange. Is that a decent price?

That's a decent price. However, I'd check with SMSP before purchasing from that shop. He's now offering cats that flow better than the Car Sound and appear to be more durable as well.

 

what type of cats are they and how much cause i got a carsound and it sounds like **** !

like a whole bunch of cans rattling is that the name i pm?

like a whole bunch of cans rattling is that the name i pm?</TD></TR></TABLE>some carsounds have had known issues with the baffling 'blowing out' of them an rattling. was it rattling from the beginning when it was new? if its under warranty, you should try to contact magnaflow (who makes carsound cats).
