Default 84-87 zc tranny

okay, I have a d16z6 in my 91 hatch.
I put a 91 SI tranny when I did the swap but now 2nd gear grinds
after i step on it. I've heard that the ZC and SI cable transmisions are the same,
if so, can I bolt on a 84-87 integra tranny in my hatch?
