Default 90 hatch fuel pump

ok guys heres my problem. i drive a 90 hatch with a b18b1 and occasionally itll die from time to time but it idles at 500 so i didnt think n e thing of it since it starts right back up. but last night i was leaving my girls apmt and i back up and it died and ever since then the fuel pump wont kick on??????? i dnt want to work on it in an apartment complex parking lot so my main question is can i hook 12 volts to it just to get it home??? and my next question would be do you know where i could check for bad connections?? the car is wired to obd1 but it looks like a sloppy job there are extra wires all over. but n e help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. PS-if i can hook 12 voltz to it which wires would i hook power and ground too?

You don't have 12 volts hooked up already? If the fuel pump is not kicking on and you have 12 volts, then it is probably your main relay under your drivers side kick panel.

your shorting out somehow that is why youre blowing fuses.... its hard to tell... but check the following connection of the following....
1.) Voltage regulator(IG)
2.) Emission control solenoid valves
3.) PGM-FI main relay
4.) PGM-FI ECU (IG1)
5.) FUEL PUMP
6.) EACV
