help me decide on an exhaust
i'm going to put a new exhaust on my car, i dont like the one i have anymore.
here are the ones i've limited it down to:
-Fujitsubo RM01A
-T1R (b-pipe + axle back)
-Spoon (b-pipe + axle back)
i imagine they would all net me about the same gains, so it's basically ruled down to personal preference; but i like them all!
anybody have any opinions?

The T1R exhaust is the only one that is 2.5" in diameter which is the main factor in determining the performance of an exhaust. The other too are both 2.38" so if you just looking to buy one for the way it sounds, listen to some sound clips and then you can decide for yourself.
well i guess i have a "mild" setup (i/h/e/IM/cam) so i'm guessing i would benefit from a 2.5" over a 2.38"?
RM01A - people says it's the "best" sounding in the world, plus it's somewhat unique.
Spoon - i like the subtleness of it, not a huge fartcan. that and i know spoons quality is next to perfect.
t1r - very lightweight, also very unique. from what i've heard it doesn't sound too bad either.
either way, all the exhausts are around 6-700, which is pricey, but that's a price i'm willing to pay.

t1r sells their exhaust as a full catback now. be careful if you buy the b-pipe and axleback separately, there are bottle necks in the piping. there are a lot of discussions about this in the archives (i believe in the type r forum).
personally i would probably go with the fujitsubo just because i've heard rave reviews about its tone.

Yea, even with a relatively stock B18C i would go with the 2.5", you will see some real nice gains if you get your setup tuned.
Edit: BTW this is the exhaust i'm getting, so when i did my research i found that this would suit my needs the best. Since i will have a similair set up to you, that is what i would reccomend.

Well, i bought it from Wayne when he had that sale going on which was like 575 +shipping or omsething like that. I got it for 600 pick up and the exhaust runs for probably around 700 to 800. Go to the performance forum and look the T1R sale thread. Wayne's name is SpeedStarRacing.

This is my reason for also voting Spoon. I had a Spoon N1 rear-section on my old EJ8, and when I installed it, I put it next to the OEM rear-section for comparison. The size of the two tips were nearly identical. I mean, the Spoon was slightly larger, but you really couldn't tell.
It's a good visual protector from the police; hell, most people who weren't "in the know" about aftermarket parts didn't even realize my axle-back wasn't stock since the tip was so subtle in size. Also sounded great with immaculate quality/craftsmanship and fitment, as you're already aware.
