I've been having idle issues where from time to time but not often my car when coming to stops will idle for a quick second at like 520-600rpms then back to up normal idle around 700+ and of now i'm trying to troubleshoot what it possibly could be. I've done a compression test and that wasn't it. My mechanic thinks it could be a build up, and I'm leaning towards that and maybe spark plugs at this point. I through a CEL for o2 Sensor awhile ago, cleared it and that was the last time it came on. Any ideas? What spark plugs are good to use?

what mods do you have. I had this problem too but it was because I reset my ECU because I got a new intake. then the problem went away like after 2-3 days.

Toda cams, I\H\E, Hondata Gasket, Casper o2 sim, Itr mani. I don't know if it's a sensor, a leak, or plugs.

 

What kind of ECU? understand that since you don't have stock or ITR cams your car isn't going to idle like stock.

I have the Toda Flash. The car idles fine most of the time it's anywhere from 690-700+ rpms which is normal on an "S", but occationally I might look at my tach when coming to a stop and it will idle at something low like 580(which it's definately not supposed to do regardless of cams) and then back up to 700+. It just recently started doing this with the weather being cold in DC.
