Ignition timing advance questions on d15b7

Default Ignition timing advance questions on d15b7
I'm helping a guy tune his motor for some more power. He has an AEM cold air intake, DC header and some no-name exhaust system. I can reprogram his ecu. What's the maximum I will be able to advance his timing maps at the top end without causing damage or losing power? 5 Degrees? 10 Degrees? thanks guys

Thats hard to tell.. What gas is he running? Best way would be to get it on a dyno and figure that out..
