oh $hit....another copy of a great mugen wheel... Rota " the art of copying great wheels" Fack! I dunno if any of u guys remember Junior Asper??? he was the first honda to break into the 12's back in 94or 95 His ride was an EF runnin SOHC turbo....It was in an issue of SCC with those wheels on it..but yes those wheels look very cool...it would be even cooler if u can find the real ones...as far as weight, i dunno...

add a few more fins and they are pretty much dead ringers for the CF-48's, a friend has a set on his EK so I get to see em all the time

The real ones arent the CF-48's....I honestly forgot what the real versions of those Rotas were called....

The wheels your thinking of I think, are the CF48's but also like the other Mugen wheel. It sort of looks like a steel stock wheel right? I think Rota combined the two. I don't like these Rotas, but the Mugen wheel is dope. How come nobody here knows Junior Asper. His car was the back in like 95. (98/99), that ain't old school man. Piaa fogs and 15's with Fubas. That is old school. (Back then, 16 was like an 18 now, and 17's were equal to 20's). Times sure have changed.

 

It looks very similar to the NR10 but a very bad copy.First the MF8 then the Rnr now this. This is a sad sad day

I thought the first honda guy in the 12's was Dave Shih ( is this correct?) i might be wrong though. I remember he had a silver CRX. can someone else confirm this?!

Hey, looks like u think on my level...Yes, i'm not surprised to see that nobody here knows who Junior Asper is...Juniors car was the ish back then, i think i was around 16 or 17(damn, i'm still living in those days when it comes to cars)....Yup, 15's, Fogs, Fubas(which i still like), Hard to find AUTOLOOK bumper, and that kick *** light blue color...Man, i still have pics of his car that i took at Import Showoff back then. I have pics of it when it had those Mugen Wheels and pics of it when it had Panasports...I worshipped that car...Too bad he cut it up to make it a Tube frame car that never got done...NR10's???I guess that was the original wheel....I would love to have those on my DA! Old School to tha FULLEST!!!!!

Matt B, those are the ones!!!!! Junior had those on his car when it appeared on Sport Compact Car Magazine...He had blue Z-speed lug nuts on them...Phukin tight!!!

 

OT: i always thought Myles was the first in the 12's with the 85-87 CRX. i was around that age then too when i was just first dipping into the import scene. i've always heard about Junior asperer but never seen the guy. i guess he never received the publicity Myles, Tony Fuchs and Dave Shih received.
