Well, i went to school today and parked my car in the usual spot...and went to class. I have 3 classes...so after every class i go and check up on my car to make sure no one has tried anything...so after my first class i go to my car and its all there and nothings wrong..after my second class i went up to check again and everything is still cool...so after my third class i walk up to my car, I go to open my trunk, and what do i see.,....some stupid *** driver trying to park...missed the parking spot and hit my car.

My rear bumper is basically to the point that if a strong gust of wind hits it.,..its gonna fly off, thats pretty much most of the damage...and i got some paint right under the taillight...but that will come off with some wax. Well thats $300 to $400 that i didnt have to spend.

cliff notes.....stupid *** driver trying to park...hit my car..and now i need a new bumper....

 

damn that sucks, i have no worries with my car. I just forget about it. What school do you go to anyway?

Something similar happened to me last week. I walk outside, to find my car has been hit. Someone backed up into me, scracthing up my bumper, and leave me with a cracked emblem.

 

Make sure they pay for it, and just forget about it, get it fixed, life goes on.

One time I was with my mom in her branks spanking new silver 01 Honda Accord V6
last summer and we went to a chinese restaurant. We parked it on the street at a parking meter and a school bus which had dropped off some kids drove past the car with the doors open and it scuffed up the front lower driver side of the bumper...I put down fork, napkin, knife, and soda and ran out there to yell at the guy. Got his number and everything....and made sure he paid for it...which he did.... I fixed the damage myself though....just bought a bottle of touch up paint and fixed it.

Oopps never mind, you prolly didnt see it happen, but for me I watch my cars, my accord, Integra Like a hawk.....a good way to prevent theft in the Teg is to park it where you can keep a birds eye view on it.....if I cant I wont take it out....so that way if you see someone messing with your car, you can run out there and give them a piece of your mind.....just be nice though

I like when you park like super far away from a store, noone for 100 yards in every direction, and then you come back and find some joker in a POS right next to you and not another car in the lot.

 

Kinda hard to do when they hit and run without leaving a note...

A week ago, while at the movie theatre to watch "Lord of the Rings"...my rear bumper got scraped by a car (or suv)...it was a hit and run cause the driver didn't leave a note or anything...

luckily very little damage...just some scrape marks on the bumper and some paint chipped off of the passenger side fender.

 

sorry to hear the bad news. you gotta make them pay for it. their fault = they pay.

 

sorry man that sucks. but on a lighter note it makes me think of the movie ******.

That's why I try to park inbetween spaces on the line.

 

I had my bumper replaced after an older Corvette with shoddy tires rear ended me(~10mph) while I was waiting at a stop sign. It was raining that day. The bumper was misaligned and slightly warped so it was replaced. Total cost for his insurance about $700.

 

I wish I knew who it was...i would pull out every penny from their insurance company to help pay my outrageous insurance costs...

but on a lighter note....I went to a junk yard and they had a 98 itr rear bumper there already painted CW. The left corner of the bumper is scratched up a litlle but i think thats better than not even having a bumper...Well the guy told me he would sell it to me for $125 so I'm gonna go down there today and pick it up and put it on.

I gotta look semi-descent for the meet on sunday

 

The further away from people you try to park, the more likely some idiot in a beaters gonna park next to you...
I went to sayfway with GSRgrrl one night, And parked way in the back of the lot (This was at 11:30 and there were honestly only 5 cars TOTAL in the entire lot)
Sure enough, when we came back out some jackass in a beater suburban had parked righ next to us, within a foot of my car. There were 20 spots in either direction totally open, and this a-hole insists on parkingright next to me...
People suck.

 

I hate that... I park so far away from everyone else and I always park next to corners too. That way I have cut my chances of door dings in half but I still have so many on my car.

 

Same thing happend to me,I checked my car a couple times a day,and noticed after lunch this big *** SUV next to my ride close as hell,what do you know theres a huge dent in the back quater panel,it seems whoever came out of the back seat slammed there door into my ride leaving a big dent and a nasty scratch,i then kicked there door in and bounced before anyone could see.It seems ever since i got this ride people have been doin like that,its a magnet for haters and idiots.Funny thing is it happend again so i started parking away from everyone and then the car gets stolen from there.Got it back and it looks better then ever but i thought i would share with u guys.careless people like that

I always park really far to protect the si. But one day, i was parked at the courthouse, getting my brothers liscence and i came out, and what to my suprise was on the passenger side. A big f'n ding and above that a scratch on my door handle. Whoever did it was gone. I was so pissed. Since then, i had the ding taken out and scratch repaired. STILL PISSED ME OFF!!!!!!!
