are they interchangable, specifically, will an ecu from a 88 DX 4speed work when i swtich over my car to manual tranny? (91 dx hatch, gettin 89 DX 5speed tranny)

I'm pretty sure it will work b/c the ecu doesnt really control the tranny....you may get a cel with it though.

there's gotta be a million dx ecu's out there that you can pick up for like $10 though

do u have an auto matic or do u have a standard civic manuel 4 speed if u have the manuel 4 speed its not a dx and u dont need to switch ecus but ull need new axles new steering knukles and i duuno wut (91 dx hatch, gettin 89 DX 5speed tranny) that means witch tranny but if its a 91 ull need teh flywheel to
