50 bucks is half the price of a better header

the speed for 1, is stupid, like said above. and the header alone wouldnt affect top speed like that, especially that much. i have a chikara header made by headman (its a few years old now) on my sohc now and i've had ZERO problems and no performance loss. something else may be wrong with the car too. i'd have it checked out

I agree. A header wouldn't affect it THAT much.

there isnt much top end power on a single cam thats already at 120...i topped my 92 hatch (d16z6 with intake and muffler) out at 132 at 6k in 5th and the revs werent moving at all...so i doubt the addition of crappy headers will make a difference

Single cams arent really great for top end. but if your friend wants real performance he needs to get a AN-R or Bisimoto header. they are pricey but worth every penny.
