I learned to TIG, and still do the majority of my welding on a slightly newer idealarc 300. Personally I almost prefer working on it over other machines I have access to, a snychrowave 250 and a maxxstar 200, although by no means do I think it's a better machine. I mainly like it because of familiarity and comfort, so take that for what it's worth. I've been n the lookout for a used one for sometime here
It's not as smooth or as adjustable as something like a syncrowave, but for what I see people posting up on here it should be more than enough. I can't think of anything you'd realistically do to, or put on a Honda that it couldn't handle.
I've never bought anything like this on eBay and the "unable to test", part would scare me off a bit, but you can't beat the price.
