97 accord question is, is it good to paint the stock spoilers or do I need to get after markets?
I got a 97 accord and the stock spoilers are not painted
I saw other accords that have painted spoilers and they look nice. I asked a couple of auto body shops about painting my stock spoilers and they said "it would be a bad idea because they were not made to be painted."
My question is, is it good to paint the stock spoilers or do I need to get after markets?

what "spoilers" are you referring to? if you are talking about the trim on the bottom of the car, you can just buy some color matched paint from somewhere like tower paint and do it yourself for cheap (though i'm not sure how long the paint will last) or you can have a body shop do it...i'm not sure you can buy color matched trim other than the door guards that came on the ex's...
Oh yeah I forgot I can edit my own title! Yay!

Those things arent meant to be painted. That isn't your run of the mill aluminum that you can just primer and paint over. Try it but I doubt it'll work well.
