Is a LSD best suited for cornering or acceleation
i have a question i was hoping someone could enlighten me on. i am considering purchasing an ITR LSD for my 00 GSR. Now, it is only logical to think that since both front wheels are pulling, except for one, that acceleration will greatly benefit from this mod. i would further conclude, that corning would be much better for the same reason. now, i have heard from a few people that the LSD benefits cornering more than acceleration. when i am saying acceleration, i am thinking traction. can anyone fill me in on what the LSD is best suited for and is it a worthy mod for the street racer??? when it comes to the tranny, i am clueless
my mods are i my bio if ayone is wondering. thanks
jeff

Oh I think it has pretty good benefits when u go around corners. When u are exitting from the corner u gonna have a higher speed than those non-LSD equipped cars.
Umm how the LSD work is say when u're turning right, your right tire may have less traction or even spin. Normally without a LSD u will lose power since the right wheel is spinning. LSD helps to transfer power to your left wheel so the car will still accelerate when u want it to.
One thing is if u're purchasing any aftermarket LSD instead of stock R LSD, 1 or 1.5way is recommended for newbie and advance level drivers. 2 ways are too hard to control if u're not in the expert level or professional drivers.
