H&R sport springs with Tokico Blue shocks.
1.75" front, 1.5" rear.
I'm looking at Dunlop FM901's, ES100's, Azenis (probably not though), S03's, Kumho MX's, and I think that's it.
Probably the first 2 though, but if the price is right I'm open to recommendations.

and won't grip as well as them either... grip vs. wear is generally a pretty linear tradeoff.

sumitomo's may be nice for someone who doesn't really drive their car hard but...since he appears to be considering "some" auto x events sumitomo = ****. granted with your sumitomo's you have a longer tread life but..you wouldn't find anyone running them for the performance aspect thats for sure.
you don't want to run a 205? hmmmm. if the roads where you live are generally pot hole free i would go with a 195/50 verses a 55 series. probably not azenis? granted i'm not a HUGE falken fan but the azenis is a pretty light tire...not to mention fully steel belted from bead to bead. i've been dealing with tires for about 6-8 years now...and i'd suggest either the es100 or the aforementioned azenis.
fyi 205 es100s are narrower than most 205s ive seen.
ive ran:
potenza re730s 205 (wide...
potneza so3 205 (wide tire... my friend ran these on his Si
azenis... 205" (really sstinkin wide
but... the es100s really stick tight to the rim at 205.
and the car handles very well. jus thought I would drop my
thoughts on there

I hated those tires when I had them on my 17" Cp8s.
195/50 Es100s..

i would go with some toyo proxes 4, fm901 or the azenises. that's only cuz i had some personal bad experiences with the es100s.
i kno how it is, ur just getting a buncha names of tires thrown at you but u neeed to drive each tire (i kno that's impossible) to make your own decision

Check out the G-force Sport From BFG, they were tested against the Proxes and the Dunlops and i think the Kumho's in a camparison i read in a Mag, and they voted them the best of the group.
I had 205/50 es100's on my gsr blades and absolutely loved them!!!! I plan on getting them for my volks as well. I don't have any driving time on the other options, but I do know that 712's suck.
205/50 es100's are great

That's why they stock out so damn much.
They're nice tires, but too loud and they hang over too much for a 6" wheel.
And they'd probably rub.
Oh yeah, I drive a 97 civic EX coupe.

for a boosted car like yours...
I would try and get as much rubber on the road.... you can run a 205 on a 6" ( minimum) and a good tire like the AVS ES100 or Falken Azenis sport of the new 615.
Personally I would try and do wheels too (7" would be optimal)
