how to pass smog
here is the thing i went to the state ref for modified emissions, so i fixed everything and put the car back to stockbut the test still showed i had a high O2 level and a low Co2, sowmthign about the hydro carbons and the Nox, so if any one has any answers p[lease help, oh its a 1994 civic ex

How about your o2 sensor, and spark condition, not to mention your cat?

your car is running lean. check fuel pump, filters and injectors. if your nitrides of o2 (nox)are high then you might have a timing problem but it is also caused by lean conditions. your cat is working fine especially if your hydrocarbon emissions were low, also a sign of leaning out. co2 is the result of fuel and o2 mixing if your running lean then your co2 will be low.

only if you're on a dyno, and even if you are, the engine speed will barely vary due to tire size.

the thing is my dad is a master mechanic, we fine tuned that bitch down to the bone its running stock time idle throttle everything its like perfect and its not a racing cat its brand new stock, so im not real sure i guess ill check the fuel pump injectors and filters, thanks for the input

can you by chance post your results? exact numbers of each at idle and 2500 or whatever they test it at? also before you go again change the oil and drive it before you go and DONT turn the car off while you're waiting in line. the warmer the cat the better

highly doubt it.
To the original poster, do a basic tune up and make sure the car is warmed up and up to operating temperature.
