Stereo wiring
I am posting this is the audio section also, but I think I will get a quicker response here. As for the question, I am hooking up a sub and amp to my oem stereo in my 94 ls. The major problem is that I have no idea where to wire the remote power wire from the amp to the head unit. Where is the best location to splice that wire so that the amp turns on when I turn my key forward. I am still searching, but what are the wires for the two rear speakers that I need to wire the line out rca converter into? Thanks for everyone who helps me out.

Is the antenna always up when you play tapes/CDs? Even if it stays up now, it may not if you get a new deck...
It sounds like you are going to be splicing the wiring harness for (2 of?)the speaker outputs. When you do that, you can splice the (usually yellow)wire that tells the deck to turn on when you turn the ignition. There may be a wiring diagram on the deck or you can use a testlight and make sure the light comes on when the amp should. Don't expect stunning results when using the stock deck though...
Another tip. Don't run the power(12V) wires along side the speaker wire unless you like whistling noises. You probably want to run the 8 or 12 gauge + signal down the right side, and you can run the speaker wire down the middle(might have to remove bottom of back seat to do that).
