Default Flowmaster 60 series exhaust

I just had my Flowmaster 60 series exhaust installed about a 5-6 days ago and it is working alot better than the old matrix exhaust I had. A few thing i've noticed is that I gained alot more torque and horsepower, the sound is also lot quieter a more deep sound not ricey, but due to all the extra metal inside the muffler from the delta-flow upgrade under heavy engine load it makes a metalic sound as well as a the normal sound. Overall very good exhaust

I have 2.5 inch pipe with a 40 series flowmaster on mine. It sounds so much better than those huge chrome cannons that everyone has. I love the metal/popcan sound under heavy acceleration.

Yeah i have the 2.25 size piping on mine. Did you get your 40 series with Delta flow? I love the sound it makes and I left mine flat black so it doesn't look like all the chrome cannons. I'm going to try and get a sound clip soon

i got the 40series biyatch! i got the original non-delta flow 40-series. the delta flow has more fins in it and seems like that restricts..and its also quieter than the non-delta flow.

anyways, i love my 40 series...its super nice, and hell very, very quiet but still louder than stock. more noticeable interior cabin.

i also like this exhaust/muffler because its got a stock looking pipe on it. i think mine is 2.25" tip. so its not a cop magnet at all. i've been pulled over, for over 10 times for various things, speeding, u-turn, racing, no tint, no front plate, etc.etc. and never got a ticket for my exhaust.

the 60-series is the one designed for imports, but if you go to flowmasters website, you'll see that the 60 series is much quieter than the 40-series. i already think my 40-series is pretty damn quiet already..cuz u can't hear it on the freeway. only time you can hear it is from 1500rpm to 2500rpm.

and if you compare it to catback exhausts, catbacks are like 3X louder than this muffler alone.

the general rule is usually, the louder the muffler, the better the rule. stock mufflers so quiet yet they are so restrictive.

The Delta-flow does add more fins but it also changes the flow enough that it doesn't restrict and is supposed to breath better than the non delta ones. 60 series is their import version but 40 series is just as good as 60 for a substitute, really just comes down to choice.

I hate delta flows. I have a 40 series original on my honda, 2 on my mustang, 2 on my lincoln, and 1 on my dodge truck.
