Default anyway to lower stock EP3 seats?

im 6'3 and i cant see my cluster and my head is very close to the sealing...
i would be much more comfortable if i were any lower...

is there anyway to lower the stock seats?

raise the steering wheel. i'm 6'6" and it works for me. not sure about lowering seats...but if you want to see the cluster i dont know why it wouldn't work for someone of your height.

Spoon supposedly makes a replacement seat mount for the EP3, but it is crazy money.

well if its spoon, im sure it is crazy money

and i can see the cluster fine if the steering wheel is al the way up, but im more comfortable when its further down

im not a picky person, just trying to see if there is a way for me to drive more comfortable

well you could custom fabricate mounting brackets. but you would want to make srue they are safe.

I'd like to lower the seats in my Si because when I autocross I can't sit up straight without my helmet is hitting the cealing.

the best thing to do is buy a set of EP3 civic type R seats. a very nice upgrade and they sit lower

the euro ones r the same correct?

the JDM ones sit lower, i know, but its also not in my budget right now, but they will coem some day, partly for this reason

im afraid custom seat rails, and grinding the OEM mounting locations off is the way you will have to go. im in your boat.
