Intake gaskets
quick question i just got in my Skunk 2 intake manifold in for my 96 gsr and im going to replace the IM gasket. should i go with the factory or one of those Cooler gaskets. Never really heard much about it. Does it make a difference?
If you go aftermarket you could try the Hondata gasket, if you want to spend that kind of money on a gasket. The idea of the hondata piece makes sense and prolly does help with heat a little but i think that I would save my money and just go with the OEM part.
just go with the oem gasket. the hondata gasket u need to oem gaskets to go on either side of it neways. plus u'll most likely need longer bolts to put ur manifold on with the hondata. just stick with oem

Ummmm.... i pretty sure you're wrong because I have that gasket and didn't need to use oem gaskets or longer bolts..
Do some research and search

I put the hondata gasket on mine with two oem gaskets on either side. I had to get longer studs, but if you can take of the intake manifold and replace the skunk 2 then you can spend the 5 bucks it costs for new studs. All you need to replace is the studs anyway...
