master plan for me what do u think?
well my car is scratched up in the front looks like complete crap with the forest green color. i'm going for looks and performance nothing rice, jdm front and type-r engine.
well my questions are, do they have front conversions for a 4dr? do they make type-r spoilers for 4dr, or it's custom fit? I went to my local acura and they are going to give me a brand new type r block and head with ecu for 5 grand.
i really think this is a good idea since my engine is probaly dying soon, it has only 85k on it. how much u think i can sell my LS motor for?? i mean i don't want to do a rebuilt, i'm not going for turbo or n20 or something. i just want all motor setup, and all motor without vtec would be a pretty expensive thing to do. LS with 195hp all motor would cost me alot. i rather get a reliable stock type-r and build from there. and no i don't want LS/VTEC that frankenstein stuff no1 knows how to do down here

if you have the money for the r engine and front end then go for it but thats an awfull lot of money. dont forget youll need a tranny too. id almost just say buy a newer gsr or find a low milage gsr engine to put in. i cant see spending 5 grand for just an angine and ecu. i figure that with my gs ill have full suspension (see my sig and add in the konis im gettin in 2 weeks) and custom turbo for 5 grand.
i just don't trust other people's engines, who knows wat they been doing...redlining the crap out of it or ran it in a river and towed it out. turboing and n20 just not my style. all motor seems good enought for me. i just want to to beat a hatchback with gsr engine and i/h/e with my all motor setup, fair as it is.
forget the type-r motor... its not worth the money... get a gsr motor (which u can find for cheap if u shop around) even one that burns oil or whatnot... considering all the money u would have spent on a type r motor... u can put some hi comp pistons in it... differant cams, a vlavetrain and get a nice lsd and already be in front of the stock ire motor
