Not sure what this would mean but what is wrong if my RPM's fluxuate when i have the RPM's held?

you don't hold your RPMS at a throttle position, you hold the throttle at that position. How bad is the fluctuation (sp?)? Within ~100rpm or like ~1500rpm?

 

about + - 100rpm

 

i don't think that's a problem...my RPMs go up and down in little bits if i try to hold a rev. While we're at it...did you recently change anything on your motor? Add intake/header/etc? Also, try resetting the ECU to see if the problem goes away.

 

actually today i changed my header but even then it was doing this before... i put the motor back about 2800 miles ago and it has just started doing this 100miles ago i will reset the ecu tomorrow

 

aite...tell me how resetting the ECU goes
