well, searching would help, but ill give u a quick answer. they SUCK!!! they are very well known for snapping and f'ing up a tranny even more... all they do is go into a stock differential and u pound it in, and it will turn it into a limited slip, but a crappy one. a much better way to go is just get a Quaife, they are the best in the business!!!

 

I wouldn't rip on phantom grip. I had one on my 95 eclipse gs-t with over 300 wheel and I never had one problem with it. It may not be as good as a quaife but the phantom grip would be about $1000 cheaper, and ten times better the an open diff.

 

phantom grip, kaaz, and all of the other 'fake' lsds are supposed to drive really shitty in the rain. i'd never buy anything but gsr/itr or quaife.

try 650 dollars cheaper... Quaifes are only 890 dollars, or around there. and u r one of the lucky ones that did not break their phantom *** lsd becuase i myself know some that havent taken theres to the *******... but i know of more people that have shattered theres... it is pretty much u get what u pay for.
