FOR ALL YALL BMW M3 owners... what kind of oil do you guys put in there?? I have 5w-30 sittin in my closet and am planning on putting some oil and was wondering, is MOBIL 1 5w-30 SYNTHETIC OIL usable...? thanks

really, cuz i see M3's and **** on here in the appearence/cosmetic all the time..

i would put in mobil syn 15-50w just cuz thats wats used in vipers and vette's and the m3 aint to far beind those cars motor wise.

 

depends on the climate...here in socal, i put 10w 30 in my 325i, its a good year round weight.

 

try e46forums.com i believe, that's a pretty popular m3 board..

that's because this is the Appearance / Cosmetic forum...as in...non-tech things.

kind of funny how people want to post pics in the Tech forums and ask Tech questions in the Pics forums.
try asking in GDD forum.

btw. you're "planning on putting some oil in"? is it low? are you running it with no oil?

...and you have an M3 and don't know what kind of oil to use?
stick to the EH2 maybe.

*****... my dad has a M3 and wants me to change the oil so I've been driving it for the past 2 days and i love it.... so das why im asking HT.. its ok though, this is kind of an OLD POST... i alrady changed it...
