The AEM is more of a high RPM power gainer, with some major sacrifices in low RPM throttle response.

ignore the mod list....

The real list is AEM, testpipe and that is it.....the rest of the stuff was a thinner headgasket... timing was conservatively set at 16deg or so.... oh and Spoon Sports ground type plug wires (borrowed from Alan at AJR....THANKS!)

Does it work?
I certainly am a believer... particularly since they can be bought used or cheap from groupbuys...

I certainly notice a nice improvement particularly when VTEC hits.... low end response is down a bit though..... but the gains far outweigh the losses....

He's in Australia. Yes Injen, Iceman, AEM etc. all "work" and you will see power on the dyno, I've seen anywhere from 3-5hp in peak and the 10hp power spike.

I picked up 6 whp on a dyno with my AEM cold air intake. The sound is worth it anyway. It'll make you swear you installed it wrong when you get on it for the first time
