Default b16b type r pistons in a b16a2 engine

hi i want to know if the type r pistons will fit in a b16a2 engine if i need to buy the rods??

The ctr pistons will work. The bore size on the the b16a2 and b16b are the same.

use your stock rods because the b16b rods are different

Oh they "worked" alright... See this thread is horrible anyways - you can't just slap CTR pistons on a regular rod as machine work is required. So, great job at reviving a HORRIBLE thread.

thanks a lot for replying. i m trying to set up the ctr pistons and gsr camshaft in a b16a2 heads. i dont know the hp gain but i m sure it should be positive.
