I've done that before in a welding helmet, wasn't pretty.
Also lesson learned yesterday, avoid post-Mexican burps when approaching a stop light. I had one that lingered for a good 3 minutes, it was horrible.
But yeah, being sick leads to a fatigued state, slowing actions and reactions immensely, so you should avoid the ride (and the drive).

I saw on the news the other day.. they did a study on drivers between 18-25. Talking on the cellphone slowed their reactions down to that of a 70 year old.
Point is, little things that we wouldn't normally don't associate with dangerous behavior should be avoided.

It was horrid. Just hovered there in the helmet, even raising the visor didn't clear it.

Last few times i went out i had a cold.. didnt really change much.. i was just EXTRA tired after riding.. like that night i passed out at about 6pm lol
I've ridden when I was mildly sick. Just a head cold or whatever. It is really miserable. You are all stuffy to begin with, then you smush your head into a helmet. Not a good time. I have also sneezed inside my helmet. Very gross. Get your visor open, and pull the helemt down a bit, so your mouth goes through the opening.
dunno if this would be considered as sick, but once i really had bad allergies cuz i forgot to take my medications and it really affected my ability to concentrate. i wouldnt recommend riding even if you feel just a little sick.
I rode Buttonwillow last year while sick. It was horrible standing in line waiting for our group to go out and my head was spinning...as soon as we got the greenlight to go, it cleared up. I a headcold and i was seriously dehydrated that day. I did the entire trackday and only pee'd once. I was in bad shape and shouldn't have ridden, but it was one of the best trackdays ever...not my best lap times tho.
you also should think about the germs too, i have pink eye right. yeah sucks its 73 today and i can't ride because i don't want to put my helmet on. you could get sick from your germs again later.
