Default shaved sides on the AC oow oww

i am repainting the AC and i have been having a bit of trouble removing the factory side moldings . where they mount agains the door skin are a line of fitting holes and i have bondo'd the front two fenders and the rear quarter panel section but the bastards on the door are near immpossible to bondo cause the **** drips into the door and a thin layer over the hole with a air buble in it scares me for the fact moisture could build u and tear my door apart.... if anyone has ever shaved their moldigns without means of a welder get back to me

you can use fiberglass. I did a car 4 years ago and i tapped a paint stick to the inside of the door to keep the the fiberglass from falling inside the door worked fine. still looks just as good as the day i finished it. and its just as much work as welding them up, ive done both.
