Default Remanufactured Axles? (wow they are shitty)

Here we go again 6 months later after installing remanufactured axles from Pep boys, my drivers side axle is cracking when coming to a stop. Anyone else have horrible experience with these. I seriously change my axles every 6 months, this is ridiculous. Is my car too low or something? Are these axles just total ****? Does anyone else offer anything a little more quality without breaking the bank?

These axles are just of poor quality. The only good thing about them is that they have a lifetime warranty. I was going to go the remanufactured route, but instead I chose new GCK axles, which also have a lifetime warranty.

So how much higher do I need to raise my car? Will 1" make a large difference? I know gator racing axles are nice but $$$ anyone know of a quality axle thats cheaper?

That still wouldn't solve the problem. My axles were just replaced 4 months ago and the boots are still perfect, but the CV joints are clicking. A torn boot just ruins the CV joint much faster because the grease comes out. The short life is most likely caused by the fact that I have about 1/4" wheel gap on stock 14" rims.

I think it was patrickgsr that bought rebuilt axles before and they were crappy, i think one was actually longer than the other, see if he see this thread so he can explain.
