Default Switching S2K E-Brake to Driver's Side?

I know it sounds weird, but my old car, '88 Turbo II RX-7, the e-brake is located on the driver's side, same thing with my brother's 240SX, and basically, I KNOW that the e-brake is located on the right side on the S2K, and after driving an MR2 that is the same, I realized I really don't like that.

So my question is, on a Japanese S2000 is the e-brake located on the LEFT side? If so, is it possible to replace the center console, or whatever you call it, with one off a Japanese S2000 and just re-mount the e-brake to the other side?

The entire reason I ask is because I do plan on eventually drifting my S2K, and it just feels more comfortable when it's closer.

I basically wanna go from this:

Yes. The RHD (Japanese, Brits and whoever else) S2K has it on their passenger (our drivers) side.

You are not properly drifting if you are e-braking.

I think that it would feel too close to me. But I guess for drifting then it makes sense not to stretch for the e-brake.

*edit* You actually can run a RHD ebrake console cover setup, just requires some minor tweaking. Your better off with a 240 if you want to drift with ease.

Yeah I read the rack sucks, the RS*R team actually switched racks witha rx-8 or 7 I forget so that they could drift the S properly. Seems like to much work for me.

its eletronically dampened, so its school bus slow in the beginning then really quick at the end, not the same at all so its "harder" to drift. and it was from a late model rx-7 that they swiched it from
