File this under the "Random-*** trades" archive, along with most of the threads created by "00-720" and the guy who wanted to trade his automatic Eclipse.
Most people in here are looking for cash for their bikes. Or better bikes!

as sarcastic as it may sound man, most people wouldnt really trade their bike for a 16 year old car. you may have more luck selling the car outright and using the money to just buy a bike. ive seen that this approach is more successful and less time-consuming.

sorry if i was a jack-***

I traded mine for a 14yr old car.
Anyway i never understood the NEVER BEEN DOWN thing. Honestly Unless it has frame damage, then who cares if it had a low speed scrape or drop and was fixed.
People can replace fairings for cheap and say its never been laid down and have a straight frame and get good money, but once someone admits toa 10-20mph low side, all the sudden people think its junked.

heh. well. i am selling the car But this is just something else i can do to try to sell the car and get the bike i want....thanks for your inputs. and yeah. i've seen people trade older cars for bikes. the cars value is about the same as the bikes im wanting.
but the never been down thing. i just don't want a bike thats fallen at speeds over 10mph. just had bad experience with my previous bike(was down on a low speed fall and it had a few problems) and with cars.

No but its not worth as much money to people, my bike which i bought from a dealership had been down with over $4,000 damage, and they never told me about this, and when i went to go sell the bike again people ran VIN checks and found this out and i lost a couple thousand dollars because of it!!
