Weird grinding noise.. then it died.. what happened??
i was driving home tonight and i got off the freeway. I got on it alil and shifted fromm 1st to 2nd then all the sudden a weird *** grinding noise.. i had a feeling not to stop and sure enough as soon as i pulled onto my street it died.. wont start.. wont even turn over.. anyone know what might have happened?? Thanks for your help..

No, that's not possible because the starter isn't touching the flywheel when you're driving.
I would take the car to a mechanic to find out what's wrong with it.

its fixed... lol this is the stupidest thing.. lol one of the a/c pulleys fell into the timing belt pulley and jammed it.. soo stupid.. blah owell its fixed now
