Default Removing Spark Plug Wires (H23)

I ahve an H23, about to swap valve covers... I know you do the 4 bolts hold it down, and the other stuff. I just dont know how to remove the spark plug wires. How do I take them out, so I can remove the valve cover? Also, can I leave the spark plugs in, or do I have to remove both the spark plugs and plug wires?

Then when i reinstall them, how do I install the plug wires?

Thanks, and sorry for the newbie questions.

Just pull them out, pull from the boot - not the wire. Keep plugs in, and remember to place valve cove gasket back on... Simple as that.

When you say 'remember to place valve cove gasket back on' will it come off in the first place? Also, do i have to lube the new valve cover up or anything? Also, how do i reinstall the plug wires?

Thanks, Jordan
