what should i do with my car.. should i fix it up for a JDM show w/ a built motor,, should i build the b18c1 and bore it out to a b20.. dam help me out so many suggestion i dont know where to start... if i do build the motor what should i do first..

you might as well work with the motor you have already if its a c1 instead of gettin a jdm one....not worth the work of a swap in myopinion. also what are your goals, are you gonna go forced induction or NA?

I would start by figuring out what it is you want to do before you ask such broad and open ended questions. As far as I know, no one here is telepathic so do us, and most importantly yourself a favor and get it narrowed down to what you want to do.

Personally, I like to drive my cars so the whole "show car" thing for me is a crock of ****. I don't understand the mentality of spending thousands on a car, then creating a phobia and being worried about it getting dirty. Build it and drive it.

seein in you live in cali.. the first few questions you should be thinking about are..
-will it pass smog?
-how often will the cops in my town harass me?
-maybe i should first create a budget on how much i want to spend so i can talk to a reputable shop about building a motor?

set an ultimate goal on what u are making the car into.. show pony.. road racing.. drag racing.. etc.. then add reality.. budget, hassle by local enforcement, security, etc.
