Any thoughts on ECU Code 15?
I have been trying to troubleshoot this 90 Teg for months.I replaced the B18A engine with a rising sun B18A.New main relay,Distributor, and engine wiring harness. When i
the engine over the plugs get no spark, then the ECU reads code 15 with one long blink and 5 short ones.So i was told it is the ignition switch and to try to hot wire it .So i reset the ECU and try to start it by hot wiring the White and Black wire with white stripe off the ignition, still no spark and ECU then flashes code 15 again. So then what is next?Does this mean the ignition switch is okay?I have replaced the ignitor and coil to no avail.Any thoughts?

Code 15 is the ignition output signal. I thought that was the circuit that tells the ignitor when to fire. (Not the ignition switch...) On my '95 it's a yellow/green wire from the ECU to the distributor. Loose, corroded, broken wire, or ???
Okay ,so could i just try to replace the yellow green wire from the ECU straight to the distributor? That goes from the ECU and connects to the distributor through the passenger side harness right?I have a lot of bad info in my chilton manual that covers like 10 years of different Acuras and is very inaccurate.Thanx for the tip.
I only really know about the car's I actually own. So be careful about that wire being a different color or something like that. But somehow, there's a wire that the ECU uses to trigger the ignitor.
I was mostly saying the business about the ignition switch was not related to code 15.

Ya,i read in my manual that it was for ignition output signal and that it was a faulty or missing signal, but it left no details on how to troubleshoot. So thanks for the tips, the honda guys had told me to check the ignition switch for some reason.
