my buddies vtec wasnt workin about two weeks ago and we replaced the speed sensor and it was the problem, but tonight the speedo shut off again and i was wondering the reasons a speed sensor could go bad
can it short out if water gets to it(because it is raining tonight and we went thru a big puddle... also if water gets into it will it mess anything up if not shorted out

any info would be helpful and appreciated
