yea i got the valve job but after that i didnt open it up when i got it back... when it it broken down on me.. i opend up the CAM cover and the belt was loose and the other side was tight.. i think they shouldnt make me pay for it..
Yeah, when they said drive it hard, and we'll fix it if it breaks, they didn't mean they'll fix it if YOU break it, which is what happened. No dealership is going to cover anything if they even suspect that you overrevved the engine. It's likely you bent some valves. Did the shop change any valves? Pressure test the head? If all they did was a valve job, then I doubt that solved anything. You should have a warranty from them, especially if the work they performed didn't fix the prblem. At the very least, all you should pay for is to replace valves, but not for any work that was already performed (R&R head, valve job). There's always the Bureau of Automotive Repair, if you need some help. BTW: a blinking check engine light means that there is a catalyst damaging event in progress, ie misfires, which can be the result of, among other things, bent valves. Cam timing that went out due to a loose timing belt can cause misfires too!
run on sentences owns u...
but still im sorry to hear about this, maybe u should take some time to understand exactally what ur warrity covers and exactally what is wrong with ur car...

Screwed by dealer? no u screwed yourself. Screwed by the auto shop? who knows but i doubt you'll get any money back at all. So spend the 450 to get it fixed somewhere else or suck it up and do it at the same place.
