I have a 98 GSR and I can't decide what exhaust don't want to loud what do I buy?
I don't want it to quiet or to loud. I also don't want to big. I think I want it to go over the rear axil so it doesn't get to thrashed. can anyone help

greddy evo. I love mine so damn much. and i think its the sweetest sounding exhaust ever!

My RS*R is pretty quiet, yet louder then stock. It's also bigger then stock but not THAT big. It's cheap too.

Yea i love my greedy EVO,I think it sounds great not too loud.The Evo has an offset tip so it doesn't look that big because its tucked in for ground clearence.

A type R exhaust is a little bit louder than stock. Its a good investment that can support up to 200hp.

i have the greddy evo as well and I love it. it is somewhat loud tho but you have to make some sacrifices for performance. is it just me or has this question been posted like 20 times in the last week.

RS*R cat back or 5Zigen Fireball. Both are really good systems. The RS*R looks like a factory system though, good sleeper exhaust.

Well your either going to get quiet or loud. Nothing really inbetween.
I would say get a Apexi N1 and put the silencer on it if it s too loud.
you might also want to look into the HKS hiper, Zigen Fireball,

Question.if you don't like a loud exhaust couldn't you just throw a 2nd resignator in there to silence it,or would it hurt the performance?

I have rode in Three tegs .. one with an old RS*R ... just a little louder than stock and really nice looking, one with the Comptech, also quiet with a bit more high end growl, but looked cheap. Finally one with a Greddy SP, the loudest of the three, this one has a deap mellow sound at idle, and just screams at the high end ... not as subtle in the sound department as the others.

i heard that comptech is REALLY quiet too. does anyone have a pic of the comptech power pro exhaust on their teg by any chance? it seems like it would look a little odd or goofy on a teg?

Definitely look into the Apex'i WS, Comptech SS Catback, or Greddy Evo. None of them are particularly loud, oversized, or obnoxious.
