Obviously you didn't search very well.

That thread is on the second page! Furthermore, I searched the archived R forum and found 27 results to tires.

My point was to look before you post, There was a post made about tires on 2/12/2005 If you had taken all of three mins to read the first two pages of the R forum you would have seen it.
It's not like you actually had to use the search feature, just look over the topics for the past couple of days...
No :fire: just giving advise to those who become lazy or don't have time to look.
Many topics are covered so many times a month, for that those who read here constantly it becomes well ... Need I say more?

Damn search ****'s. I'm searching for 16" tires myself, and there aren't that many choices in a 205/45 R16.
15" and 17" appears the way to go if you're concerned about tire selection.
I actually searched and didn't find crap on 16" Summer tires.
I happen to be looking for some myself. I'll probably end up with some Dunlop SP Sport 9000 or go back to Pirelli PZero (I loved my old Asymmetricos).
My current Ziex ZE502 (or whatever the summer-only Ziex are) are kinda hurting, and never were terribly responsive either. The PZeros reminded me of RE010 sharpness, only sharper (probably because I moved to 16" at the same time).
Edit: I ended up with those Ziex because I cracked a rim with my PZeros and needed new tires anyway, so I picked up a set of wheels and tires locally.

yes its alot harder to find 16'' tires for summer. i dont really have to worry after all i do live in Fl.i just wanna find a good size for stock suspension, so i dont have a huge gap.
and i dont want to change suspension yet because i havent out driven the stock setup yet.....i was thinking either 215-45-16 azenis or bf goodrich ta kdw/2. in a 205 -50-16 but w/ a treadwear of 300!! i dont know how i would like that, coming from 200-300..or maybe some so3's.i almost kinda wish i got 15' mugens..

Regarding makes/models of tires, this post has a nice summary of the most popular tire choices for the ITR. (Don't use the 16" size RE010 because it was designed specifically for the front of the NSX.)
As for tire size, the "fender gap" is created if you use tires that are a lot smaller in outer diameter than stock. None of the 16" sizes being mentioned here are all that smaller. Here are their outer diameters:
195/55-15 (stock) 23.44 inches 0.0 percent
215/45-16 23.62 inches +0.7 percent
205/45-16 23.26 inches -0.8 percent
205/50-16 24.07 inches +2.7 percent
