did a search on this and i couldn't find nothing.

has any hardwired their radar? if so where did you guys run the wire?

I did, I ran it behind the viors. That plastic thing comes off with a few screws. The mute button is on my steering wheel cover

nice.... is there a way you can get it in the car and be stealth??? radar detectors are illegal in virginia... so it's a huge fine if they catch you with it in the car.... so i need something. where it's hidden so if i happen to get pulled over or the cop is next to me at a stop light or something he can't see it...

I went to Virginia over the summer, up to Smith Mountain Lake. I used the detector the whole time. I placed it up near the visor, so if a cop pulled up behind me I would just pull the visore down.

i just got the regular hardwire and i can do the mute setup my self for cheaper price... good stuff man that's where i put mine too.

No splicing. If you have the hardwire kit, just put a female head on the wire. In the fuse box under the driver side, there should be an auxilary power male connection. Plug it in and ground the other end.

i got my hardwire kit today, but i can't seem to find a wire to splice it to. jackson you told me there were female plugs for accessories but i couldn't seem to find it.
