1 day paint in sacramento
i've searched
how many people have gone here to get their car painted, i talked to a guy before i thought about painting my car, and i told him his car looked great. he said he got it done at 1 day in sac, well...there is a "one day" and a "1 day" in that area. which one is the better 1?
a few questions for those that have gone there:
how do you like your paintjob?
orange peal?
did you do your own prepwork?
how much did you pay?
TIA

because with the tools i have, (which i dont even have right now) it turns out like this...........
this btw, is my first time at EVER attempting to paint a car with real lacquer paint, it is metallic, and i did it under a white tent in 90 degree weather (which is by far too warm to paint in, paint dries before it hits the car), i am a much better painter now, but i want an almost factory look for the price of a macco job.

It is super easy, rent a downdraft booth, and use a nice gun with the right air to fluid mixture, its really easy, my first year in autobody class and my fender we had to paint looks good, its all about good prep, nice gun, nice paint and CLEAN booth.
haha forget the painting it myself thing, i dont have the time or patience right now, i'd rather just drop it off somewhere, pick it up in like 4 days and have a nice shiney car, although i may do my own prepwork, i still dont have a gun to shoot the primer.

i got my car painted at one day paint its kewl... they prepped it for me and stuff but i decided not to go with the clear coat didnt have money....i heard the one at watt and 80 is better than the one in downtown so i took mine there...but yeah it s kewl as a nice shine after i wax it and it has a five year warrenty
got mine done at the north highlands location... when i first got it it looked GREAT...
a year later its definately showing wear.... better than some maaco or miracle jobs ive seen though

Got my car painted there... only had it with new paint for about 4-5 months so didnt not see any wear and tear. They do poor prep work, i could see where they filled and sanded, they use a really low grit and dont follow it up. I suggest doing the body work yourself.

Do they do dent removals too? from a scale of 1-10 how u think they did? Did the paint start to chip?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I didnt have the car much longer after the paint but it didnt start chipping the first 6 months. They do dent removals im sure. Id say a 7.5. They can spray but the body work sucks.
