Civic battery posts?
correct, but keep in mind, I never found that strap on top for my civic that would fit.
I only found the bolts that tie that bar down... So keep that bar safe, unless you want to make one out of steel and cover it in electrical tape.
The problem came from the battery being so freaking close to the firewall...

Find some J or L bolts. The worst thing you can do to a battery is leave it loose and make a milk shake. The rear bolt/hook is awkward to put in so it's not unusual to see them loose or missing. What I do for the rear bolt that is hard to hook when you mount it (because you can't see behind the battery so see it) is first hold it with the hook pointed at you and draw a line on the threads with a marking pen in line with the hook. Now when you mount it behind the battery you can use the mark as a reference to know when the hook is pointed where it needs to be....whoopeyshit !

maybe I wasnt clear, I meant, keep the bar safe because I have yet to find an aftermarket one that fits... My battery is using aftermarket tie downs, but stock cross bar.. it is nice and tight.
the other aftermarket stuff usually had a cross bar thing that was too wide for some reason where the bolts go through, and thus, wouldnt fit stock locations.
