Default Sidemarker problem

Alright, so I droped off my 5th gen last night at my local body shop. I was planning on having my JDM side markers installed. They said yeah, we can do that, but now they are saying sorry but by installing them we will end up damaging your fenders.

My question is: What is so hard about this? Are the fenders for the Accord bad for this? anyone have problems like this before?

of course they will be damaged, they will have holes in them

on a less retarded note, I see no reason why they wouldn't be able to do it. just two holes, paint/etc the metal so it doesn't rust, and install the lights.

Yeah, I believe they are just covering there *** if a problem were to accrue. They told me to buy some imitation fenders with lights, well that's the last time I will deal with them! I was just excited to have them installed today, it was a Valentine's Day surprise from my soon to be wife, she was paying to have them installed.

You can do this yourself with a little time and a dremel. Just make sure you measure and measure again to make sure you have correct placement. Once they're in all you gotta do is run the wiring to your turn signals

Like TxTuner said, do it yourself. It's pretty easy and doesn't take that long at all, especially if you have a dremel. Be sure to measure as noted before and make a template out of cardboard to go by. It took me about 2 hours to do the whole thing and make sure everything was a tight fit.
