Default Stock b20 in a eg hatch v.s. Stock ls in a eg hatch

If an stock b20z was swapped in eg hatch and a stock ls was swapped in a eg hatch which one would run better. Because everyone tells me that a a b20z is the same as a ls the only difference is displacment. How much of an advantage is displacement if the two cars run.

I'm no guru...but I would think the b20 would pull better off the line with more tq but the b18 would be better up top with the higher rev limit. Other than that...I say it would be pretty equal.

Ive got a B20Z and it pulls way harder than a B18. It might not seem like a big difference on paper but it pulls like a bastard on the street.
