after market PULLEYS are they worth it?
Skip the crank and alternator pullies. They really aren't worth it imo. The cam gears would be a good investment if you have aftermarket cams or are looking to tune the cam timing a bit. Otherwise they are a waste of money and won't save that much weight
i think they are worth it on an allmotor car. cam gear especially to adjsut timing.
"for turbo" i would rely on engine management. lightweight crankshaft pulleys and adjustable cam gears are not needed for FI. neither is a lightened flywheel. "for turbo"

I would skip the crank pulley on a D-series...it is called a "harmonic balancer" there is a thread in the archives about it....many people effed up the bottom end by putting on listened crank pulleys

yeah and in the thread it shows that the older d-series (d16a6) doesnt have the harmonic balancer on the crank pulley (its on the oil pump)...so yes, a light weight crank pulley would be good for this engine...
